Nascentric Joins Virage Logic's VIP Partner Program; Successful Implementation of SoC with Embedded Silicon IP Begins with SPICE-Accurate, High-Performance Simulation

Nascentric, developer of AuSIM -- the next generation in SPICE-accurate, high-performance Fast-SPICE simulation technology -- today announced it has joined the Virage Logic (Nasdaq:VIRL) IP Partner (VIP) program. The VIP Partner Program's mission is to help increase interoperability and provide access to complete solutions that enable mutual customers to accelerate silicon success by reducing design time and improving manufacturability.

Nascentric is joining a well established partnership program that already includes more than 55 companies focused on providing all the necessary ingredients for efficient SoC design including Design Services, EDA and Test, Foundry, and Intellectual Property (IP) solutions. Working within Virage Logic's VIP Partner program, Nascentric will gain access to a portfolio of differentiating semiconductor IP to help ensure accurate behavior of its simulation solution.

Virage Logic will provide Nascentric access to its semiconductor IP in order to ensure that AuSIM is ideally suited for the fast, accurate and efficient simulation of the Virage Logics IPrima™ family of semiconductor IP platforms.
