Senior Software Architect
Job Responsibilities:
Will be part of the core engineering team building high-speed, high-capacity circuit analysis tools (e.g., power, timing) for next-generation nanometer-scale semiconductors.
Must have experience with analog circuit simulation and SPICE or fast-SPICE optimization. Experience with device modeling or Verilog co- simulation is a plus.
This position is located in Austin, Texas, but will consider other locations for strong candidates.
Education & Experience Requirements:
MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
Minimum 8 years developing commercial EDA software using C++ on Linux/UNIX. Must have experience following software engineering practices, including the use of coding standards and systems for version control, build, regression test, memory checking, and defect tracking.
Priority will be given to candidates possessing hands-on knowledge of commercial circuit analysis EDA software, including timing analysis, power analysis, and SPICE simulation.
Startup company experience highly desirable.

Senior Software Engineer
Job Responsibilities:
Will be part of engineering team building high-speed, high-capacity circuit analysis tools (e.g., power, timing) for next-generation nanometer-scale semiconductors.
Responsible for design, implementation, test, release, and support of modules and components to be integrated into commercial EDA products. Will apply C++, object-oriented design, and performance optimization techniques to build high-quality code and unit tests. Must have strong knowledge of algorithm and data structure development. Must also have a good understanding of electronic circuits and how to simulate their behavior through computer software.
Must be a strong team player willing to follow defined software development process and coding standards, document designs and implementations, develop comprehensive unit tests, work with team mates on multi-person tasks, and integrate marketing and customer input. Must have a can-do self-starter attitude, drive to meet schedule commitments, good written/verbal communication skills, and be enthusiastic about learning new concepts.

Education & Experience Requirements:

Application Engineer
Job Responsibilities:
The primary job responsibilities will be to support pre- and post-sales customer activities.
Qualified applicants must also be able to assist marketing and development to achieve the proper technical product focus for successful customer engagements.
SPICE simulation and chip level simulation and integration knowledge is required.
This position is located in Austin, Texas.
Education & Experience Requirements:
BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
Minimum 4 years in EDA applications engineering.
Must be self-directed and possess a practical, positive attitude. Must be able to work within a process to achieve results through accountability.
Must be able to accurately and clearly represent customer input and opportunity assessments to marketing, development and executive management.
